HUNTSVILLE, AL — Yorktown Systems Group, Inc (YSG) announced today that they have been successfully appraised at Maturity Level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®), reaffirming their commitment to operational excellence, process maturity, and continuous improvement.
The appraisal was conducted by Integrated System Diagnostics (ISD), an authorized CMMI lead appraisal provider.
YSG was first appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 in 2023. This latest appraisal reaffirms the organization’s dedication to disciplined processes, continuous improvement, and delivering consistent, high-quality support to customers and partners.
CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates an organization is performing at a “Defined” level, where processes are well characterized, understood, and consistently implemented through documented standards, procedures, tools, and methods. These processes are continuously evaluated and improved to support quality outcomes and organizational growth.
