Huntsville, Alabama – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown) announces the selection of Dean Lockhart as the TEAMS Employee of the 4th Quarter of 2018. Dean Lockhart serves as an Executive Assistant in support of the Missile Defense Agency on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. His efforts were key in creating a more efficient and productive process for prioritizing responses ensuring the completion of assigned actions. He has become well known and respected throughout the Agency, and he is often called upon to assist others.
Dean works closely with Government stakeholders to share information and ideas to ensure consistent and close communication with senior leadership. He handles multiple tasks and communicates with senior managers at all levels. He maintains a strong, effective relationship with internal and external customers and stakeholders and ensures all tasks outcomes are exceeded. Dean is always willing to assist another team member on the contract, even across directorates, and he always delivers on the assistance promised without degrading his own mission requirements. He coordinates work requirements with agency stakeholders, key personnel, and project officers and continually establishes effective working relationships. Dean uses his experiences, skill sets, knowledge, education, training and diverse background to accomplish the mission. He demonstrates leadership capability in meeting demands of the position, while reaching goals and objectives through teamwork. He takes pride in being a results-oriented, hands-on individual. Dean’s communication style strongly emphasizes teamwork, courtesy, respect and efficient productivity. He interacts with all customers in a professional and courteous manner and ensures every customer receives his highest level of attention.
