Fort Lee, Virginia – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown) announces the selection of Jerome Williams as the Operational Solutions Division Employee of the 4th Quarter in 2018. Jerome Williams provides Task Order management and instructor services in support of the U.S. Army Logistics University Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) Task Order. He is responsible for conducting multiple SASMO resident courses and Mobile Training Team (MTT) courses over the past quarter.
Jerome provides officers, warrant officers, enlisted and civilian personnel with training to support skills ranging from functional logistics specialists through technical automation specialists. He is our resident Subject Matter Expert for the SASMO software/hardware configurations and troubleshooting techniques supporting seven sustainment automation systems. He is well respected by his peers and subordinates for his candor and meets challenges without compromising integrity.
Jerome continues to be a reliable top performer for YSG as a Senior Instructor and Manager. His honesty and integrity, coupled with his technical competence, generates immediate confidence in his ability to exceed as the SASMO Task Order Manager. He continues to maintain a cohesive team that trusts each other, remains engaged to meet daily tasks, and holds the team accountable for contract deliverables. In addition to providing expert SASMO instruction, he conducts monthly Government Furnished Equipment inventories and has always maintained 100% accountability of all assigned equipment. He always encourages open communication and the sharing of knowledge to ensure all tasks and deliverables remain within schedule and budget.
