Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown), is proud to announce Dr. Heidi Bosanko as our Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Growth (CS&G) responsible for the planning and execution of Yorktown Systems Group’s (YSG) strategic business development and capture efforts. As the Vice President for CS&G, Heidi will direct and manage YSG’s entire team of analysts and capture managers in the conduct of research, analysis, development, and implementation of plans to achieve our strategic and divisional goals. Dr. Bosanko brings years of experience successfully leading, managing, and capturing business for several Defense and Special Operations projects, before joining Yorktown in 2019 as a DOG Squadron Concepts Advisor and ultimately serving as the last Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG) Program Manager.
Dr. Bosanko holds a PhD and MS in Chemistry from the University of Michigan where she taught Organic and General Chemistry classes. She holds a BS in Chemistry with emphasis in Biochemistry, a minor in University Honors, and graduated with honors from Wayne State University. After her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine studying nucleic acid biophysics, she transitioned to supporting Warfighters at the tip of the spear with Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) solutions and project management for training and advisory support. Dr. Bosanko’s RDT&E focused on home-made explosives, military working dogs, and subterranean warfare equipment.
