Huntsville, AL – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown), is proud to announce the selection of Kristin Pitts as the OSD Division Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2018.
Kristin serves as a Project Specialist for the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) Program Evaluation Office (PEO) Task Order. Kristin works to ensure the multiple evaluations conducted by the team are executed with cohesion, attention-to-detail, expertise, and professional excellence. In doing so, Kristin represents Yorktown’s core values of teamwork and being a lifelong learner.
Demonstrating her teamwork skills, she has developed a rapport with multiple departments at the MCoE to include the initial entry training units as well as organizations that maintain Soldier performance data in multiple states. The evaluations she has completed have led to increased efficiencies, better instruction, and identified gaps in knowledge or material that the MCoE can now resource properly to ensure world class instruction is available to the training base.
Demonstrating her qualities of being a lifelong learner, Kristin continually seeks out ways to increase her knowledge of evaluation and writing. She attended the Southeast Evaluator Association conference where she presented on the topic “Survey Development”.
VP, Operational Solutions Division Vern Tubbs said, “Kristin is an amazing, dedicated professional whose work as a Program Evaluation Office Project Specialist has been the “long pole in the tent” since we began this effort. She represents Yorktown’s Core Values of reliability, excellence, and hard work, to list a few, and her care and mentorship of other employees has been exemplary. I’m glad we have this opportunity to recognize her publicly for her efforts in support of our Nation and its Soldiers.”
