Yorktown Announces the Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd Quarter of 2018, Mr. Larry Benedict

Huntsville, AL – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown), is proud to announce the selection of Larry Benedict as the LREC Program Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2018.

Mr. Benedict has served Yorktown as the Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus (FLPB)/Database Manager for the 10th Special Forces Groop (Airborne) (SFG(A)) Language Institute since March 2016.

Mr. Benedict has continually exceeded standards by ensuring entitlements are submitted and paid well under the 45-day suspense. The 1st SFC(A) Organizational Inspection Program (OPI) has commended the 10th SFG(A) Command Language Program for pay rates that are among the best in the Command during the past two inspections.

Mr. Benedict has fostered a work environment that is fair and equitable for all Yorktown employees and their customers. The relationships he has built with Post Finance and Defense Finance and Accounting Services are critical to ensuring the Group’s Soldiers’ financial needs are met for years to come. Mr. Benedict has developed and mentored multiple finance clerks in the five Battalion S1 sections imparting valuable subject matter expertise and institutional knowledge. Mr. Benedict is well-liked and respected by all 10th SFG(A) members.
