Yorktown Announces FSI Employee of the Quarter for the Second Quarter of 2018, Marija Jovanovic

Huntsville, AL – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown) announces FSI Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2018, Marija Jovanovic.

Ms. Jovanovic joined the Foreign Services Institute contract in February 2017 as a Bosnian Language and Culture Instructor working in the Slavic, Pashto and Persian Languages Division.
Marija quickly distinguished herself as a valued member of the FSI team by bringing her education and prior language instruction experience to the table. Her dedication to the shared goals of FSI and Yorktown set her apart. This became evident when her Government Technical Monitor quickly learned that Marija could be counted on to handle the most challenging students and learning environments.

In addition to the consistently excellent reviews from her students and outstanding evaluations from FSI and Yorktown observations, Marija repeatedly volunteered for additional duties and additional classes. Her pursuit of excellence carried over beyond her duties as a Bosnian Language and Culture Instructor. Marija volunteered to help her section by filling in to teach Serbian and Croatian students, demonstrating her commitment to the team’s goals and setting the standard for reliability.
