FORT LEE, VA – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown) announces the selection of Errol Charles as the Employee of the Month for October 2018.

Errol Charles serves as an instructor in support of the U.S. Army Logistics University (ALU) Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) in Fort Lee, VA. Errol joined the Yorktown team in March 2018, and he quickly mastered the software/hardware configurations and troubleshooting techniques for the seven sustainment automation systems at SASMO. He is a top SASMO instructor supporting the Active Army, National Guard, and Reserve Component, DoD civilians, and government contractors. Outside of his daily duties as an instructor, Errol recently assisted in the development of the Sustainment Information Systems Windows 10 Army Gold Master step-by-step installation instructions for the Standard Army Ammunition System – Modernization and the Transportation Coordinator’s Automated Information for Movements System systems.

Errol acts with honesty and adheres to the highest standards of moral and ethical conduct. His dedication, trust, and commitment to his job has improved the overall effectiveness of the SASMO team. Errol is a reliable employee who consistently performs above standards. He provides encouragement to others and moves them to positive action. He is a subject matter expert who ensures students gain the skills and knowledge as SASMO operators. He consistently conducts checks on learning during his class to ensure every student fully understands the course material. His actions continue to foster excellent customer satisfaction throughout the program.
