Yorktown Systems Group Appraised at CMMI Level-2

1/8/2018, Huntsville, AL — Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. announced that it has been appraised at Level 2 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. Yorktown would like to thank Paul Byrnes with Integrated Systems Diagnostics Inc., who performed our CMMI appraisal.


This accomplishment verifies that Yorktown has proven quality management capabilities. Areas evaluated include Contract Program Management, Human Resources, Proposal Development, and Travel Management. Our CMMI Level 2 assessment in these areas provide the following assurances to our customers:

Corporate Program Management – Our expertise and certified program management processes demonstrate our capability to ensure timely delivery of high quality products and services that are designed to meet our customers’ needs within budget.

Human Resources – Our CMMI Level 2 appraised human resources processes demonstrate that Yorktown has mastery of human resources processes. This mastery, along with our full-time recruiters and staffing innovations, provides the confidence that we will meet contract staffing needs and that we will retain our personnel through strong supporting processes.

Proposal Development – Our certified proposal development processes enable Yorktown to provide quality competitive solutions, responsively, to meet our customers’ requirements.

Travel – Our proven travel processes give us the capability to properly manage and regulate travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations and ensure cost compliance.
