Yorktown Announces Nick Fuller as Chief Operating Officer

Huntsville, AL – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), has named Nick Fuller as Chief Operating Officer. Nick will lead strategy and operations for all active contracts, ensuring missions are met with quality and diligence as Yorktown continues to expand. Upon joining the company in July of 2010 as a Program Manager, Nick quickly gained the respect and trust of Yorktown’s leadership; he assumed the role of Vice President in October of 2011. He has worked tirelessly in the field, traveling to different installations, deciphering what needs to be accomplished, and working to meet those goals. He exudes a natural charm that has won over everyone with whom he interacts. He is a coach, a listener, and a true partner.

Based out of Seattle, Washington, Nick not only carries out routine on-site visits, but he is also a reoccurring digital presence in daily morning meetings and the weekly Operations Call, where he talks with each Program Manager, addressing all concerns with genuine care and thoroughness.

With the acquisition of the Foreign Service Institute Contract awarded by the Department of State, a new customer, Nick has performed at an exceptionally high-level. Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University. A retired military officer, Nick has earned several awards and decorations, including the Legion of Merit, four awards of the Bronze Star Medal (one with “V” Device), and three Purple Heart Medals.
