Yorktown Announces Mr. Stan Ellis as the Employee of the Quarter, 3rd Quarter 2015

Huntsville, AL – Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (Yorktown), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is pleased to announce the recognition of Mr. Stan Ellis as the Employee of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter of 2015.

Stan Ellis joined Yorktown Systems Group in 2012 as a Military Analyst supporting the Center for Army Lessons Learned Program with USASOC at Fort Bragg, NC.  As a Military Analyst, Stan reported, collected, disseminated and recommended Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), activities, training, operations administration and capabilities relative to the organization’s functional responsibilities.  Prior to becoming a Train-the-Trainer (T3)/Deputy Program Manager on the VOW/VEI Project, Stan worked briefly for Yorktown’s Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Mobile Advance Tactical Training System (C-MATTS) Program and Dismounted C-IED Tactics Course.

As a T3, Stan conducts VA Benefits briefings on Education Benefits, General Benefits, Healthcare, Compensation Claims Process, the Ebenefits Web Portal and the Career Technical Training Track (CTTT) Program to provide the highest quality of service to transitioning service members and their dependents. In addition to being a T3, he was recently promoted to Deputy Program Manager.

Stan served in both the US Navy and Army for a total of 22 years.  He has been married for 29 years to his wife Lynette.  They have 5 children (2 in High School, 3 adults) and they reside in Fayetteville, NC.
