Bryan Dyer
President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Bryan has over 30 years of experience in leading large organizations.  He is a retired Army officer with a distinguished career as an infantryman and comptroller.  His assignments in the Army ranged from duty in Special Operations and Airborne units to commanding an infantry battalion. Bryan is a veteran of Operation Just Cause in the Republic of Panama, Operations Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, the Kosovo Campaign, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Bryan founded Yorktown in 2008 and has consistently grown the company from 1 employee in 2008 to 325 employees today, with 34 prime contract awards from Federal agencies. To date, all projects have been performed successfully with excellent customer ratings. Yorktown offers capabilities in training and education, financial management, integrated logistics, information technology, and program support.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Business Administration from Syracuse University. His military awards include two Bronze Star Medals, the Global War on Terror Service Medal, the Army Expeditionary Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.

Bryan has been the majority owner and President/CEO of Yorktown Systems Group since 2008.

Nancy Acquavella
Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

A recognized leader in the government contracting industry, Nancy has over 17 years’ experience in Management, Business Development, Proposal Management, Contract Management, Customer Relationship Management, Trade Show Coordination, and Marketing. Nancy worked for several DoD Industry corporations during her career prior to founding Yorktown; rising from a marketing representative to the position of Senior Vice President of a $250 million/year company. She has in-depth experience working with the General Services Administration (GSA), Missile Defense Agency, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and the Department of Defense.

In the role of Yorktown CAO, Nancy is responsible for managing the Headquarters staff; professional, timely, and compliant submission of all proposal responses; as well as handling all contractual requirements for the organization. 

Nancy has been the minority owner of Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. since 2008, and has been instrumental in supporting company growth and developing company processes and procedures, as well as developing the company culture and vision.

Nancy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

Nick Fuller
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Nick has over 30 years of leadership experience in demanding positions both in the Army and since retirement.  He retired from the Army after nearly 24 years as an Infantryman serving as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and as a Field Grade Officer.  His assignments in the Army included duty in Light Infantry, Mechanized, Airborne and Special Operations units.  His culminating assignments on active duty were as a Ranger Company Commander and as a Joint Task Force Operations Officer.  Nick is a veteran of Operation Just Cause in the Republic of Panama as well as multiple tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Nick joined the Yorktown Team in July of 2010 as the Program Manager for the Counter- IED Mobile Advanced Tactical Training System (C-MATTS). He supported a number of other Yorktown instructional contracts and continues to support numerous projects since assuming the role as Vice President in October of 2011.  All Yorktown’s training and education projects overseen by Nick have performed successfully with excellent customer ratings. 

Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, four awards of the Bronze Star Medal (one with “V” Device), three Purple Heart Medals, three Meritorious Service Medals, the Joint Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terror Service Medal, two Army Expeditionary Medals (one with arrowhead), the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development (3rd award), Humanitarian Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), the Iraqi Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Ranger Tab, Master Parachutist, Pathfinder and Air Assault Badges and the Combat Infantryman's Badge (2nd Award).

Suzanne Chandler
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Suzanne has 20 years of experience with government contracting companies.  A native of Huntsville, Alabama, she began her career in the contracts department and rapidly progressed as an accountant, ultimately becoming VP of Finance.  She has experience in implementing competitive pricing structures for proposals, audit support, automating inter-company processes, delivering successful contract execution, and streamlining accounting and budget analyses. Suzanne brings a wide range of expertise to Yorktown, working with both small and large businesses and directly supporting the government customer.

In the role of Yorktown CFO, Suzanne will aid in the restructuring of the Finance department as the company continues to transition and grow into a large business.

Suzanne holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Chris Hardy
Vice President, MDA Operations

Chris Hardy has over 30 years of experience as a leader for both Yorktown and in the Army. Chris retired from the Army in February 2013 after 27 years of military service, with most recent military assignments as the Command Sergeant Major for the Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Benning and the Regimental Command Sergeant Major for the 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, GA. Chris’ initial combat deployment was to Somalia with TASK FORCE RANGER. Subsequently, he deployed numerous times in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.

Chris joined Yorktown in 2013 as the Dismounted Counter Improvised Explosive Device Tactics Master Trainer Mobile Training Team Program Manager and has since been promoted to the SOCOM Wide Mission Support Program Manager. In 2016, Chris assumed duties as the Vice President of Business Development.

Chris’ civilian education includes a Master in Education – Training and Development from Trident University International, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and an Associates of Science in General Education from Troy University.  His military schooling includes:  Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, Jump Master, Air Assault, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape High Risk (SERE), PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, First Sergeant’s Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Sergeants Major Course, Class #52, and the Command Sergeant Major Force Management Course. Chris is a Distinguished Member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 187th Infantry Regiment, the 502d Infantry Regiment, and is a recipient of the National Infantry Association’s Order of St. Maurice, Primicerius Award and the US Armor and Calvary Association’s Order of St. George.

Vern Tubbs
Vice President for Training, Education, and Operational Support

Vern joined our Yorktown Team in early 2014 as a recognized leader with over 30 years of experience leading organizations to achieve their goals. He retired from the Army with 24 years of service as both a senior Non-Commissioned Officer and Commissioned Officer in units ranging from Mechanized Infantry and Airborne, to Special Operations. Vern is a veteran of multiple tours of duty in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon retiring from the military, he then served for 6 years as an Operational Advisor and Deputy Program Manager for a $90 million contract providing operational advice, mentorship, and recommendations to our Nation’s conventional and special operations troops, while accompanying them into harms way all around the globe.

Since joining Yorktown, Vern has served as the Project Manager for the Army’s Advanced Situational Awareness (ASA) and Adaptive Soldier Leader Training/Education (ASLT/E) courses on Fort Benning. In July 2016 he assumed the duties of Vice President for Training, Education, and Operational Support, overseeing numerous Yorktown contracts and task orders supporting our customers around the globe.

Vern holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and a Master of Public Administration. Vern’s decorations and awards are numerous and include the Order of St Maurice (Legionnaire), the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation (individual award), the Combat Infantryman's Badge, Ranger Tab, Pathfinder Badge, and Military Free Fall Jumpmaster Badge. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Facility Security Officer (FSO), and Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor.

Bill Allen
Vice President, Business intelligence & Marketing

Bill joined Yorktown in January 2017 with a mission to establish Yorktown’s Proposal Development Center and continue the business intelligence and proposal excellence that Yorktown has achieved.

Bill is one of only 150 Certified Proposal Professionals  and also holds a Shipley University Business Development Certification.  He is combining these skills with his leadership and people development skills to establish and institutionalize Yorktown’s business intelligence and work-winning processes.

Bill served as a US Army Soldier from 1988 to 2008. His Army career comprised Air and Missile Defense and Operations Research assignments. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and the Joint Forces Staff College’s Joint and Combined Warfighting School.  Since retiring from the Army, Bill has applied his knowledge, skills, and capabilities to build a proven capability to develop and implement business systems, and to build winning strategies and proposals. Although only recently joining Yorktown, he has a long history with the company. This experience includes teaming relationships with Yorktown as he was helping build other companies, and as a proposal consultant. As a proposal consultant, his work was key to Yorktown’s current success.

Bill earned a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
